  2. While cooking the onion and garlic boil the water for the pasta. Add a tablespoon of salt into the water, and when it starts boiling add the pasta( the cooking time should be specified on the package)
  3. I added the wine on the onion/garlic and cooked them for 5-8 more minutes. I put 3 tbs of the water the pasta boiled in on the onion. Added the sour cream, sprinkled with the dill-cooked for 2,3 minutes.
  4. At the end flake the salmon, add the lime juice and cook 2-3 more minutes.
  5. It would be even tastier with some parmesan sprinkled on top.

I made a bowl of whole wheat pasta with salmon, feta cheese, green beans and spinach. (You better believe I wilted the spinach using my fancy new trick!) The meal tasted fresh, wholesome and was nice and filling thanks to fibrous vegetables, hearty whole grains and protein. This smoked salmon pasta has lots of bright lemon flavor that lightens the whole-wheat pasta. I followed the directions pretty closely but I added about a half cup of reserved pasta water and about a cup of chicken stock to prevent it from getting too dry. Mix until it all comes together in a ball. The dough should be as dry as possible.
