  3. Add the poha followed by the semolina in a bowl
  4. Add salt and curd next
  5. Mix and keep the bowl covered for 15 minutes
  6. After 15 minutes, set 2 cups of water to boil in the Idli steamer
  7. The mixture should have thickened after resting period
  8. Add the soda and mix well
  9. Grease the idli trays and fill them with idli batter
  10. Steam for 10 minutes or until idlis are ready. Take off heat
  11. Keep them in the steamer for 2-3 minutes before taking them out to serve
  12. Serve warm/at room temperature with your favourite chutney/sambhar
