The ingredients needed to make Moongdal salad:
  1. Get 2 cups-Soaked moong dal
  2. Get 2 grated -Carrots
  3. Get 1 cup-Grated coconut
  4. Prepare leaves Little coriander
  5. Take Salt as required
  6. Prepare Oil,mustards -For Tempering
Instructions to make Moongdal salad:
  1. Soak moong dal for two hours and drain off the excess water.
  2. Then add grated carrots and mix it thoroughly.
  3. Add salt,and temper (Take two tea spoons oil,keep on low flame and add mustards,asafoetida)it.mix it.
  4. Add grated coconut and coriander leaves for garnishing.salad is ready to serve.
