Perfect as a main meal with rice or as a side dish for other Indian dishes. Half cup soaked Moongdal / Yellow Lentils ( soak for at least an hour & half).   1. Wash and soak the dal for 2-3 hours. - Drain the dal and stand it in a colander to dry.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add asafoetida and mustard seeds. when it starts crackling add soaked dal and green chilies and saute for 2-3 minutes. Don’t overcook. It makes the dal dry. Switch off the flame. let it cool down for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add rest of the ingredients to the salad and give it a good mix. The salad is ready. Serve immediately.

Half cup soaked Moongdal / Yellow Lentils ( soak for at least an hour & half). Now start layering the Salad by first adding the Brown Rice, Moongdal, then the Raddish leaves, the Boiled Groundnuts. Soaked yellow lentils (moong dal) are mixed with veggies and a tempering of mustard seeds, green chili, and asafoetida are added to the salad.
