Instructions to make Aloo palak in pressure cooker:
  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry red chilli and asfoetida, let it crackle, add chopped potatoes, saute for 2 minutes on medium flame.
  2. Then add onion, ginger and garlic, saute for 2-3 minutes on medium to high flame.
  3. Then add chopped spinach and tomatoes, mix well, it starts releasing water, mix and saute for 2 minutes, tomatoes will become soft.
  4. Add sabji masala, salt, turmeric powder and water, mix well, close the lid and wait for 1 whistles on medium flame.
  5. When pressure is released, open the lid, mix cooked vegetables and simmer boil 1 minute. Serve hot with roti or rice.
