Steps to make Daal Batti:
  1. For Daal take a pressure cooker, cook all the daal in the pressure cooker
  2. Take a pan add a little bit of oil. Once heated add red chilli, bay leaf and curry pata, Jeera
  3. Add chopped onions, and sauté for few seconds until it turns golden brown then add chilli ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds
  4. Next add chopped tomatoes, and cook until they get soft. Then add all the dry masala and kitchen king masla and mix. After add the cooked daal and salt to taste. Boil for a min.
  5. Daal is ready for baati
  6. For Batti, In a bowl take wheat flour. Add ghee, and a pinch of cooking soda, and take little warm water at a time making a tight dough. Here make sure your dough is not soft we want the dough tight.
  7. Start making small balls by smoothing the dough. And press in the middle.
  8. The batti is ready you can bake it in gas, tandoor or in a oven.
  9. Enjoy your batti with your delicious daal.
  10. One way to have your daal batti is by breaking small pieces of the batti and serving it with some ghee on top.
